Defying Vocal Range

There's video above, FeedReader

Apropos of nothing whatsoever, I happened upon this video of Raúl Esparza singing "Defying Gravity". It's not Air Supply, but it'll have to do until I figure out how to make that little dream of mine come true.

If nothing else, I know this'll amuse and entertain my fellow B'way fans.

Bless you. I love him. And Seth at the piano, as well. This is Broadway nerd heaven!! (the ickiness of Wicked notwithstanding.)

I wish he had gotten some good singing bits on Pushing Daisies. It is too bad. I didn't realize he was the Abettor in the concert version of Chess in 2003. Also found him doing Being Alive which was good.

I can't recall, have you watched Torchwood? John Barrowman is on that and has done some stage work. One of his cds has Being Alive as well which is what made me think of him.

I've watched Torchwood a few times. Barrowman's got a decent voice, but I never like the choices he makes with songs. His instincts are to soften every piece and it bugs me.
