Test post from within Facebook

Of the two social communities, only one gives me seizures when I view its pages. Facebook is far too cutesy for my tastes, but at least it's better than seizures. Of course, if the tools administering the place would get around to authorizing my name change that would be nicer still.

This, very boring post, is a test from within Facebook using a new app. Why? 'Cause I'm bored this morning and wanted to try a new app, that's why.

I've been on facebook for months and have yet to figure out what the point of it really is. I honestly, fundamentally don't understand.

Dunno. I know the point of MySpace is to see pictures of 18-year olds. Maybe Facebook is to see 22-year olds?

Boy do I ever feel better!
I joined long ago just to check on some interesting project someone was doing. It wasn't what I thought, and I saw no other use for Facebook, so I just never went back.
I recently got an email from someone who wants to make me a friend and I can't think of a good reason why he would. Makes me kinda nervous.

My oldest daughter and her friends love it though, so I figured I was "out of touch" because I'm 50 and not a geek.

Well, if you folks can't see any use in it, I don't feel so old and obsolete anymore, thanks!

I guess, though, that after I've gotten all the damn spring cleaning and returning to life stuff done, I'll take another look at it. Maybe my daughter can explain it to me :)
